Job Summary

Provide high-quality patient care as a General Practitioner, delivering evidence-based medicine in line with CBAHI/JCIA standards, hospital by-laws, and Saudi Ministry of Health regulations. Perform history taking, examinations, diagnostic test interpretation, daily ward rounds, admissions, and on-call participation. Document care plans and patient notes, prepare reports for discharge and follow-up, support patient and family education, and contribute to CME and departmental training.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide superior quality medical treatment, compassion, and understanding to every patient in the hospitals and clinics.
•Deliver patient care within professional competence, including history taking, physical examinations, diagnostic interpretation, and management planning on admission.
•Conduct daily ward rounds, coordinate with consultants on inpatient care, and evaluate new admissions to establish diagnosis and investigation plans.
•Participate in on-call rotations, morning reports, and supervised outpatient care (OPD and ER) with appropriate consultation.
•Document care plans and progress notes, prepare discharge summaries and reports, support patient/family education, and participate in CME and departmental educational activities.

Key Requirements

•University medical degree (M.B., B.S. or recognized equivalent).
•Recognized as a General Practitioner by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
•Minimum of two (2) years in medicine after obtaining the degree.
•Current valid license to practice medicine in the specialty.
•Additional qualifications/experience in the specialty and academic affiliation are desirable.
