Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform analysis and design for electromagnetic environmental effects including lightning, grounding architectures, bonding, isolation, transfer impedance, shielding, emissions, susceptibility, and electrodynamics.
  • •Set EMI/EMC requirements grounded in physics and collaborate with EE, ME, DSP, and software engineers to test and validate systems.
  • •Characterize, solve, and troubleshoot EMI/RF issues from board to system level, including during and after aircraft integration.
  • •Support certification efforts by performing EMI/EMC testing and documenting and discussing results with designated authorities.
  • •Operate EMI/RF/electronics test equipment and independently verify, document, and communicate results clearly and precisely.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline.
  • •1+ years of electromagnetic environmental effects experience, including EMI/EMC requirements, analysis, design, and testing.
  • •1+ years of experience using radio test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers/generators, and network analyzers.
  • •1+ years of programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB.
  • •Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed.
