Key Responsibilities

•Architect, train, fine-tune, and evaluate state-of-the-art speech representations and ASR models across multiple languages.
•Design and deploy scalable algorithms for dynamic vocabulary insertion, contextual biasing, and LM personalization for customer terminology.
•Implement automated framework evaluations to benchmark model performance (WER, CER, embeddings, latency, efficiency) under varying acoustic environments.
•Develop multilingual benchmarks for end-to-end conversational AI including speech-to-text and text-to-speech components.
•Partner with engineering teams to build and maintain high-throughput pipelines for ultra-low latency real-time streaming and batch speech analysis.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computational Linguistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field with emphasis on speech processing or deep learning (or equivalent proven industry track record)
•3-5 years of professional experience developing ASR systems, speech-to-text translation pipelines, or advanced audio processing models
•Proficiency with PyTorch or equivalent frameworks, plus experience with speech toolkits such as Whisper, NVIDIA NeMo, Hugging Face Transformers, Kaldi, ESPnet, or SpeechBrain
•Hands-on experience converting and running PyTorch models on mobile inference runtimes (ExecuTorch, LiteRT, ONNX Runtime Mobile)
•Strong Python software engineering skills and experience with multilingual text/audio tokenization
