Key Responsibilities

  • •Innovate and develop a power-efficient, low-latency, all-day machine perception vision system.
  • •Develop training and data collection/generation pipelines and state-of-the-art ML algorithms for scene and user behavior understanding.
  • •Map advanced ML algorithms to a hardware accelerator, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize performance and efficiency through HW/SW co-design.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into cloud-edge workload partitioning and edge ML accelerator HW/SW requirements.
  • •Perform quantitative evaluations using system modeling and sensor/soc/software co-design.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Experience in research in computer vision, edge ML perception algorithms, and/or AI accelerator design.
  • •Experience with programming tools/languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, and Python.
  • •Familiarity with appropriate ML frameworks and experience with model deployment.
  • •Familiarity with image sensors and ISP (image signal processing).
