Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute month-end cash controls across regions and entities to ensure balances are recorded accurately based on cut-off policies.
  • •Support the Balance Sheet controller with a robust cash substantiation program focused on financial statement assertions.
  • •Conduct periodic reviews of bank integrations, escalating exceptions so root causes can be identified and fixed at source.
  • •Guide BAAM controlling teams during bank account setup, ensuring relevant reference data is captured and recorded correctly.
  • •Create and maintain end-to-end documentation of how transactions impact corporate and customer cash, incorporating risk and controls.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 68,000 - 90,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Solid experience in financial accounting or controlling.
  • •Good understanding of core accounting principles (IFRS and/or US GAAP).
  • •A track record of improving existing processes in a fast-paced international or FinTech environment.
  • •Ability to take end-to-end ownership, work autonomously day-to-day, and seek guidance on complex judgements.
  • •Comfort reconciling data, solving operational problems, and ensuring accurate, timely financial close.
