Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, tear-down, repair, refurbish, overhaul, assemble, test, and install designated electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
  • •Support preventive and corrective maintenance for FAA and interagency systems, including fault isolation and replacement of failed line replaceable units (LRUs).
  • •Perform equipment performance analyses, collect/record engineering data, and provide information collection and reporting.
  • •Complete required adjustment, testing, and certification processes for assembled/repaired/installed items and modifications.
  • •Perform on-site work including tower climbing and work at heights (including inside/outside tower structures and corrosion control), and prepare FAA/interagency assets for shipment.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum High School Diploma/GED with completion of formal technical training courses.
  • •Successful completion of a physical fitness evaluation with weight restrictions of minimum 125 lbs and maximum 290 lbs.
  • •NACI Clearance - ability to obtain Public Trust.
  • •A valid driver's license and eligibility via two forms of unexpired identification (with specific acceptable examples listed).
  • •Ability to travel up to 70% and perform work at heights (tower climbing/rope work), including safety-related training.
