Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide special education instruction and support aligned to each student’s IEP in a virtual setting.
  • •Communicate with parents and related service staff and lead collaborative special education meetings (including annual IEP meetings).
  • •Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other required special education documentation.
  • •Use accommodations/modifications (including assistive technology and accessible materials) and adapt Stride K12 lessons and assessments per the IEP.
  • •Collect and analyze student data and work samples to monitor IEP goal progress, prescribe remediation/enrichment, and maintain gradebook integrity.

Salary: USD 48,500

  • •Bachelor’s degree and an active state teaching license.
  • •Florida 5 Year Professional Special Education certificate and Florida Reading endorsement.
