Job Summary

Senior technical leader within AMD’s Customer Applications Engineering (CAE) team, driving design, integration, and deployment of x86-based embedded solutions for networking and storage. Key Responsibilities

•Provide guidance to ODM/OEM customers on effectively integrating AMD processors into networking and storage products and custom designs.
•Guidance consists of architecture reviews, schematic reviews, design-in support, and training customers on product features.
•Analyze, debug, and root cause issues found with AMD processor enabled platform and work with appropriate development teams to provide a solution.
•Train field sales and support staff in the features and uses of AMD products. Occasional international travel may be needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
•Expertise in hardware architecture, logic/circuit design and implementation
•Hands-on design and debugging experience on SoC and x86 platforms
•Experience with DDR4/5, LPDDR4/5, JEDEC standards, PCIe4/5, and Ethernet (1/2.5/10G)
•Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (C/C++, Python, Perl) and server OSes (Linux, Windows Server)
