Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with product managers and chief engineers to develop new mechanism concepts.
  • •Research and design new mechanism parts, sub-assemblies, and working units for power tool functions.
  • •Explore manufacturing processes to enhance designs for DFM and future improvements.
  • •Analyze design integrity and functionality using mechanical calculations, CAE, dimensional stack-up, and DFMEA/PFMEA tools.
  • •Develop prototypes, run evaluations and testing, and support concept-to-production release with records and engineering change notices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Over 5 years designing or implementing mechanical products (power tools preferred).
  • •Strong mechanical design theory and ability to propose innovative concepts for complex problems.
  • •Proficient with 3D drawings, 2D drawings, and design calculations; CATIA preferred.
  • •Experience with GD&T, dimensional stack-up, DFMEA, and PFMEA.
