Job Summary

Lead a section of 8–15 engineers in mission modeling and simulation across air and space, land and air defense, and naval power. Guide development and integration of variable-fidelity models and simulations to build kill-chain testbeds for complex threat environments. Balance line-management responsibilities with hands-on engineering as you develop, visualize, and present tools and analytical results using simulation interfaces and scripting to support customer and government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team of 8–15 engineers supporting IRADs, CR&Ds, pursuits, and programs across Air and Space domains and defense mission areas.
•Work with teams to generate virtual and/or analytical solutions to identify technology gaps, define requirements, and test systems.
•Accountable for execution of work and delivery of products from the section.
•Perform direct line management activities including performance development/appraisal, career development, staffing allocation, and adherence to company policies.
•Model system and mission kill chains using simulation tools (e.g., AFSIM, RCADE) and present developed tools, capabilities, and analytical results to internal, external, and government customers.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience with simulation interfaces such as Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), High Level Architecture (HLA), and Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA).
•Experience with numerical optimization techniques, analysis of alternatives, or design of experiments, including military operations analysis.
•Experience with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
•Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
