Key Responsibilities

  • •Practice and enforce safety procedures, PPE use, and safe equipment operation; help minimize safety hazards and report accidents/near misses/potential hazards.
  • •Provide effective leadership and guidance to the team; facilitate onboarding and training for full-time and temporary staff.
  • •Champion and audit the 5S program; ensure housekeeping and compliance through inspections and follow-through.
  • •Ensure work instructions, inspections, set-up and first piece process are followed; monitor and reduce process-related scrap.
  • •Maximize machine utilization (90%+ target), minimize downtime by escalating breakdowns/material shortages/quality concerns, and support production schedule changes as needed.
