Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain proficiency in plant material-handling operations and support an efficient flow of materials to production.
  • •Work closely with Group Leaders and Production Supervisors to keep needed materials on hand.
  • •Perform daily cycle counts and bin checks, and take daily inventory of materials.
  • •Use a forklift to retrieve material from the warehouse and load/deliver to appropriate areas; return excess material and complete Return to Stock documentation.
  • •Perform quality procedures by checking incoming material quality/function/appearance, staging rejected material in the MRB area, and maintaining documentation and 5S+/housekeeping activities.

  • •Work safely and prevent on-the-job injuries, including reporting unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor.
  • •Maintain proficiency in plant material handling operations, including inventory processes like daily cycle counts and bin checks.
  • •Retrieve and replenish stock using a forklift to move materials to the appropriate areas.
  • •Read and ensure materials are identified and labeled, and complete required documentation (e.g., inventory spreadsheets, consignment tickets, and logs).
  • •Preferred: prior manufacturing plant experience and forklift certification; computer experience (SAP, Microsoft Office).
