Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Section Manager in executing the maintenance business plan and delivering site-wide maintenance to the highest standards.
  • •Foster operational excellence by setting benchmarks for ownership, Health & Safety, and customer service.
  • •Ensure legal, safety, and assurance compliance by conducting regular audits of internal teams and contractor work; maintain statutory records.
  • •Deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks in line with SFG20 standards, including accurate documentation of remedial actions.
  • •Assist with budgetary control and procurement decisions, manage stakeholder and contractor relationships, and support maintenance projects focused on carbon reduction and energy efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 32,500 - 49,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated operational experience maintaining assets in a distribution or warehouse environment.
  • •Time-served Electrician with relevant industry accreditation, or an equivalent HVAC professional qualification.
  • •Strong knowledge of site safety and compliance (H&S legislation, Water Hygiene/Legionella control, LOLER, PUWER, Fire Safety) with experience managing audits and statutory records.
  • •Experience using maintenance CAFM systems (including Opuz, desirable) to track work orders, plus advanced Google Workspace skills (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • •Understanding of procurement lifecycle and budget controls, including sourcing parts and managing suppliers.
