Job Summary

Own the foundational UI systems by setting standards for creating UI interfaces and driving the implementation of key UI materials. Partner with UI designers, artists, producers, and UI programmers to develop new functionality and engine features. Analyze memory and performance throughout development, create efficient in-game shaders, and communicate technical challenges that bridge UI art and UX concepts. Prototype new art pipelines and help bring team ideas to life.

•Create best practices and optimal workflows with UI artists
•Work closely with UI programmers to develop new engine features

Key Requirements

•6+ years of industry experience
•Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, specifically the material editor and UMG
•Collaborate and work well with teams from various disciplines
•Deliver shippable-quality UI content/systems that are memory efficient and performant
•Think out of the box to overcome technical challenges and self-direct when needed
