Job Summary

Lead Global Technical Operations (TechOps) to ensure operational reliability across a cloud-based infrastructure. Set governance and direction for autonomous engineering teams while driving hands-on cloud operations—architecting, deploying, and managing compute, databases, and storage. Advance infrastructure automation and observability, partner with Cyber Security and Compliance, optimize cloud costs, and evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency at scale.

Key Responsibilities

•Set direction and governance for cloud operations and enable engineering teams to operate with autonomy.
•Provide hands-on cloud operations including architecting, building, deploying, and managing databases, compute instances, and storage.
•Drive resource provisioning and orchestration via IaC and establish observability/monitoring metrics for cloud services.
•Lead team technical guidance, mentoring, and development while fostering accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
•Partner with Cyber Security and Compliance, optimize costs through rightsizing, and research/evaluate new technologies and operational practices.

Key Requirements

•7+ years in Cloud or infrastructure leadership at the director or senior manager level.
•7+ years hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer/DevOps/SRE (GCP/AWS/Azure).
•Proven experience developing infrastructure as code (IaC).
•Solid understanding of networking and security concepts.
•Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Stackdriver) and at least one language/scripting (Go, Python, or Bash).
