Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and implement solutions enabling internal and external customers to leverage ByteDance’s globally scaled content delivery network.
  • •Build metrics, tools, automation, visualizations, and monitoring systems to support operation and optimization of edge services.
  • •Develop procedures and workflows to improve efficiency, build trust, and ensure compliance across operational processes.
  • •Conduct vulnerability and capacity assessments and develop disaster recovery strategies for high availability of global CDN services.
  • •Participate in technical operations and on-call rotations to respond to performance and reliability issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Proficient in one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Go) or scripting languages (Shell, Python).
  • •Ability to address real-world challenges with strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Experience designing, analyzing, and building automation and tools for large-scale systems.
  • •Experience developing and operating systems such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, Nginx, IPVS, ELK Stack, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
