Job Summary

Manage contracts across the full lifecycle for the UKI Legal team, supporting business growth and financial objectives. Partner with Legal, Sales, Delivery, and Leadership to draft, review, negotiate, and administer customer and supplier agreements—especially for NHS and public sector procurements. Oversee contract governance, change control, compliance, and risk escalation, while providing practical contractual guidance and mentoring to project teams using digital workflow and AI-enabled legal support tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide pre-contract support for tender and bid responses, including for NHS and other public sector procurements.
•Draft, review, and negotiate customer and supplier contracts aligned with business objectives and legal/commercial risk appetite.
•Manage contracts after signature, including contract variations, change control, and compliance with contractual obligations.
•Identify, assess, and escalate legal and commercial risks, ensuring adherence to internal contract governance processes.
•Support stakeholders by providing clear contractual guidance and ad hoc mentoring to project teams across Legal, Sales, Delivery, and Leadership.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 years proven experience in contract management or a closely related discipline, ideally within healthcare, IT, and/or the public sector.
•Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with a pragmatic, commercially focused approach.
•Comfortable working with digital workflow tools, document automation systems, and AI-enabled legal support technologies to improve contract review outcomes.
•Demonstrable experience using UKI model form contracts and frameworks, with an understanding of government and NHS procurement laws and public sector contracting norms.
•Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex contractual issues to non-specialists.
