Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues by pulling data from multiple makes and models and determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment, and troubleshoot failures in the shop and at customer locations.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete and timely electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience reading schematics and calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate a company vehicle.
