Job Summary

Support the application of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) systems and tools across Rio Tinto’s NZ Aluminium Smelter (NZAS). Work within the NZAS HSE team to prepare HSE reporting (weekly, monthly, annual), manage HSE document control and intranet uploads, and help leaders build capability through Rio Tinto safety systems. Assist with assurance programs, data quality control, and ad hoc HSE projects.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual HSE reporting.
•Support and build capability of leaders and HSE team members through coaching in Rio Tinto safety systems.
•Manage HSE Management System document control and intranet uploads of controlled documents.
•Support assurance programs, including internal, ISO, and integrated maturity assessments.
•Provide support for data quality control processes and assist with purchase requisitions and ad hoc HSE projects.
