Job Summary

Maintain and repair production equipment to minimize downtime by completing scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, and restoring faulty machinery. Support production and quality teams with troubleshooting and repairs, and assist with facility upkeep to keep the plant safe and organized. Follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure efficient, compliant operations on 2nd and 3rd shift.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Complete scheduled daily preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to keep production lines running and minimize downtime.
•Set up, inspect, and test machinery to ensure proper operation; diagnose issues with supervisors and resolve malfunctions.
•Dismantle malfunctioning equipment, replace/repair faulty parts, and restore machinery to full functionality.
•Perform safety-focused maintenance by following lockout/tagout procedures and adhering to GMPs.
•Assist production/quality troubleshooting and support facility care by repairing plant structures and maintaining a clean, safe, organized environment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25.35 - 33.6 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing; or 4 years of direct experience in that environment.
•Preferred: Vocational diploma, technical diploma, or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school.
•Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with team personnel and outside contractors.
•Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
•Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, and read/execute work orders, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.
