Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete scheduled daily preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to keep production lines running and minimize downtime.
  • •Set up, inspect, and test machinery to ensure proper operation; diagnose issues with supervisors and resolve malfunctions.
  • •Dismantle malfunctioning equipment, replace/repair faulty parts, and restore machinery to full functionality.
  • •Perform safety-focused maintenance by following lockout/tagout procedures and adhering to GMPs.
  • •Assist production/quality troubleshooting and support facility care by repairing plant structures and maintaining a clean, safe, organized environment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing; or 4 years of direct experience in that environment.
  • •Preferred: Vocational diploma, technical diploma, or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school.
  • •Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with team personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, and read/execute work orders, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.
