Job Summary

Support and help lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives to maintain a safe, compliant, well-run workplace. Develop and manage safety programs and documentation, coordinate OSHA/EPA compliance training, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement. Assist with OSHA 300 logs, accident reporting, emergency preparedness drills, ISO leadership and safety committees, and workers’ compensation and medical incident coordination across all shifts.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, implement, and manage safety programs, policies, and procedures; prepare monthly accident summary reports.
•Maintain OSHA 300 logs and relevant reports; assist with workers’ compensation reporting and incident reporting in the GDC database.
•Coordinate training and safety activities, including emergency procedure drills, safety committee/first responder meetings, and safety orientation for new employees.
•Conduct safety housekeeping and environmental audits/inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective measures; investigate accidents and property losses.
•Support ISO leadership by representing the department as ISO Team Leader, assist with Management of Change procedures, and provide safety training information to supervisors.

Key Requirements

•BS Degree in Industrial Safety Management (preferred).
•1+ year(s) of safety experience in an industrial setting.

•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Strong organizational skills to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
