Job Summary

Build and run Always-On middleware reliability for Visa’s global payment platform. You’ll design monitoring, observability, and intelligent automation using AI/ML and integrate ML/LLM models into production systems. Partner with data science teams to improve reliability insights, troubleshoot production incidents, implement root-cause fixes, and coordinate middleware releases and deployments—while optimizing performance and tuning across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Support middleware software and infrastructure components across Visa lines of business.
•Design and develop middleware reliability solutions using AI/ML techniques and intelligent automation systems.
•Build and improve middleware monitoring and observability systems.
•Troubleshoot production issues, drive root-cause analysis, ensure service restoration, and implement permanent fixes.
•Coordinate middleware releases and production deployments, and optimize performance and tuning for middleware applications.

Key Requirements

•3-7 years of DevOps experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computers or related discipline.
•Experience supporting middleware technologies such as Tomcat, Apache, Springboot, JBoss, IBM MQ, IBM DataPower, Hazelcast, and Flink.
•Software development experience in one or more languages: Python, Java, or Go.
•Hands-on DevOps practices and tooling including Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
•Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) plus monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus and Splunk.
