Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead implementation of WHO India’s technical support programme for operationalizing SAHI in collaboration with NHA and government counterparts.
  • •Provide technical advice to national and state governments on AI policy, governance, standards, and implementation, including frameworks and operational plans.
  • •Support AI governance, ethics, and regulatory strengthening, including guidance on privacy, safety, transparency, explainability, accountability, and equity.
  • •Support health systems innovation and AI use cases, including evaluation frameworks and monitoring for effectiveness, safety, scalability, and sustainability.
  • •Coordinate stakeholder engagement and help design training and knowledge products on AI in health, while monitoring and generating evidence through research and evaluation studies.

Salary: INR 218,855 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree (Master’s or above) in public health, health policy, health informatics, or related field.
  • •At least 2 years of experience working with India’s health system and familiarity with AI applications in healthcare.
  • •Familiarity with India’s digital health architecture (ABDM, eSanjeevani, national registries) and health programme delivery mechanisms.
  • •Experience in stakeholder coordination, policy analysis, and technical writing for government audiences.
  • •Understanding of AI governance and ethics or AI/digital health strategy and AI readiness assessment in health systems.
