Key Responsibilities

•Under direct supervision, perform diagnoses, repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and equipment.
•Ensure work is performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
•Specialize in areas such as mechanical aptitude and electronics aptitude.
•Support computer-assisted assembly and disassembly of Measure While Drilling (MWD) and/or Logging While Drilling (LWD) down-hole tools.
•Conduct inspections and related maintenance activities for down-hole tool applications using sensors such as Directional/RSS and M/LWD.

Key Requirements

•Requires a technical school certificate (or equivalent) and at least one year of relevant experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
•Preferred: associate degree or higher.
•Ability to perform diagnoses, repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and equipment.
•Familiarity with Directional/RSS and/or M/LWD sensors used in down-hole tools.
