Job Summary

Join a Retail Personal Banker II onboarding and education program designed to build sales development and relationship-building skills. You’ll use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, cross-sell deposits, loans, and fee-based services, and drive periodic financial reviews using approved marketing tools. The role also partners with business specialists (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) to refer customers and support production and customer experience goals while following risk and ethics policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend value-based solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Drive cross-selling through outside sales activities and presentations, meeting/exceeding customer experience and production goals.
•Establish relationships with assigned business partners for referrals, guide CSRs on sales/referral processes, and adhere to risk, confidentiality, and ethics policies.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire and cross-sell to new and existing customers.
•Demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analyzing credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
