Job Summary

Build highly scalable, secure, and reliable data products that power Chainlink’s Data Feeds for smart contracts. Collaborate with engineers focused on distributed systems and security to design and implement trust-minimized off-chain computation, external data aggregation, and end-to-end delivery of new and existing data products. Work across blockchain ecosystems (including Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, and Ethereum) and help manage architectural vision in the core Chainlink node.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement new Data Product features, including trust-minimized off-chain computation and aggregation of external data across blockchain environments.
•Design and own end-to-end delivery of new and existing data products that power leading DeFi total value secured (TVS).
•Build core products with smart contracts using Solidity, Move, and Rust.
•Model attack vectors, possible failures, and disaster scenarios in reproducible test environments and develop fixes.
•Manage architectural vision for new subsystems in the core Chainlink node and implement resilient distributed systems for high reliability.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,000 - 304,000 annually

Key Requirements

•At least 7-10+ years of professional software engineering experience in a collaborative, product-driven environment.
•Experience in blockchain and other Web 3.0 technologies, including developing smart contracts with meaningful on-chain value.
•Strong computer science fundamentals and systems design knowledge.
•Experience owning multi-month projects, communicating progress, dependencies, and risk mitigation with stakeholders and partners.
•Experience building distributed systems and low-latency systems.
