Job Summary

Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations of a site Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and utilities systems, including boilers and air/chiller compressors. Lead daily WWTP operations, run and verify process control tests, maintain compliance documentation for DOE requirements, and support audits. Optimize performance by analyzing trends and troubleshooting upsets, plan preventive maintenance, manage spares and contractors, and uphold safety, environmental, and quality standards including ISO and HACCP.

Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Lead daily WWTP operations to ensure effluent meets DOE requirements and internal specifications.
•Perform and verify WWTP process control tests, maintain DOE compliance logs, and ensure analyzers/probes/dosing equipment are properly calibrated and functioning.
•Analyze WWTP performance trends, implement stability/efficiency improvements, identify root causes of upsets, and execute corrective actions.
•Develop preventive maintenance plans, support troubleshooting with maintenance teams, and ensure critical spares availability.
•Supervise WWTP operators, manage contractors for desludging/chemical supply/calibration/servicing, and ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HACCP, and internal QHSE standards.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
•Minimum 5 years experience in industrial WWTP operations.
•Strong knowledge of biological, chemical and physical wastewater treatment processes.
•Certified CePIETSO‑BP and CePIETSO‑PCP.
•Strong troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation related to WWTP.
