Job Summary

Support and lead social value delivery across multiple infrastructure projects within the Economics & Economics Development team. Create social value action plans, coordinate initiatives, and build monitoring and evaluation frameworks so clients can track performance against targets. Produce client-ready social value reports, manage day-to-day client relationships, and provide guidance to improve outcomes. Help win new work by supporting proposal preparation and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead or support social value delivery across multiple infrastructure projects.
•Create social value action plans and coordinate and deliver social value initiatives.
•Develop and apply monitoring and evaluation frameworks for tracking performance against social value targets.
•Produce client-ready social value reports using established monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
•Manage day-to-day client relationships and, where relevant, coordinate third-party contractors and other stakeholders; provide guidance to enhance social value delivery and support proposals/business development for new work.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in a consultancy or client organisation focused on social value work.
•Knowledge of the implications of the Public Sector Services Act 2012, PPN 001, PPN 002, and related legislation for planning, major infrastructure, and urban regeneration.
•Experience writing social value tender submissions and supporting work-winning activities.
•Experience engaging partners or stakeholders (e.g., employment and educational organisations, social enterprises, charities) to maximise social value outcomes.
•Strong data analysis, management, and presentation skills, including Excel; experience with Social Value Portal TOMs System and THRIVE is advantageous.
