Job Summary

Lead global talent and development for upcoming Hotel General Managers, acting as the architect of future leadership. Build a proactive market map of high-potential GM talent, represent Kempinski at industry forums, and run full-cycle GM recruitment in partnership with regional and corporate stakeholders and hotel owners. Own the GM Excellence Development Program, alumni integration, and annual people reviews, while designing succession plans and evolving global talent initiatives for new openings and upskilling.

Key Responsibilities

•Build a proactive 360° market map of high-potential general managers using a long-term, CRM-style relationship strategy.
•Lead end-to-end GM recruitment, from vetting to offer finalization, coordinating with regional SVPs, corporate leadership, and hotel owners.
•Supervise and evolve the GM Excellence Development Program, including learning ecosystem, training, co-development circles, and mentorship.
•Cultivate a global GM community and manage the GM Alumni network, including integration for newly appointed GMs.
•Lead annual people review processes with internal rotation, design succession plans for critical properties, and evolve global talent initiatives including hotel HOD development and upskilling programs.

Key Requirements

•Deep, demonstrable background in talent management within the luxury hospitality sector, including experience with the GM role in ultra-luxury environments.
•Proven track record managing complex talent landscapes and executing long-term succession strategies.
•Refined attention to detail and drive for excellence in a luxury context.
•Ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, ExCo members, and hotel owners, influencing without formal authority.
•Comfort building long-term relationships and creating psychological safety to enable true leadership development.
