Job Summary

Design and implement discrete event simulations to support manufacturing technology investment decisions and transformation initiatives across multiple Amcor Flexibles sites. You’ll build accurate DES models using data-collection strategies, optimize facility layouts and process flows, and validate future-state automation to improve cycle time, WIP, throughput, bottleneck reduction, and resource utilization. Partner with cross-functional teams, integrate with digital manufacturing tools, and present data-driven insights for capital planning.

•Design and implement discrete event simulations (DES) to support manufacturing transformation and technology investment decisions.
•Develop multi-year manufacturing transformation roadmaps using facility layout optimization, operational process analysis, and project execution.
•Create baseline and future-state simulation models to evaluate and optimize cycle time, WIP, throughput, capacity, bottlenecks, and resource utilization.
•Identify and validate high-value use cases for process optimization, DES, automation, IIoT, and automated vision inspection systems.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams and automation integrators to translate real processes into simulation logic with data integrity and communicate insights for capital planning.
