Key Responsibilities

•Partner with legal and product teams globally to review products, features, and initiatives and provide legal risk mitigation strategies for TikTok Shop compliance.
•Coordinate with product, product operations, public policy, communications, and other cross-functional colleagues.
•Continuously improve TikTok Shop initiatives through legal review and guidance on relevant legal frameworks.
•Review and analyze legal risks tied to new product developments and business strategies.
•Assist in developing internal policies and procedures to ensure ongoing legal compliance.

Key Requirements

•Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school plus membership in good standing of a U.S. state bar, with experience in private practice or in-house providing product counseling for a technology company or application.
•Experience working with international teams across time zones in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience providing legal advice related to online platforms or e-commerce.
•Familiarity with US consumer protection laws relevant to online marketplaces.
