Job Summary

Enable Twilio’s growing commercial legal team by partnering with the enterprise Go-to-Market sales organization on complex deal negotiations. Own the end-to-end review, negotiation, drafting, and management of a broad range of commercial agreements, advising internal clients on contract interpretation. Ensure compliance with policies, applicable laws, and company values while balancing legal risk with business goals. Triage a heavy workload and communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers.

•Own the review, negotiation, drafting, and management of a wide range of legal agreements.
•Advise internal clients on contract interpretation and negotiation.
•Ensure compliance policies are followed, supporting ethics, integrity, and protection from risk while complying with applicable laws and regulations.
•Understand customer and internal client context to solve problems from their perspectives.
•Evaluate and prioritize matters and issues while managing a heavy workflow and setting expectations with internal clients.

Key Requirements

•J.D. with strong academic credentials and demonstrated success as a lawyer.
•Member of local State Bar or eligible to register as Registered In-House Counsel.
•6+ years of commercial transactions experience, including at least 4 years negotiating complex technology transactions (e.g., SaaS).
•Experience supporting a large sales organization.
•Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume and broad range of commercial contracts (e.g., MSAs, PSAs, NDAs) and provide pragmatic business-oriented legal advice.
