Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and operate microservice storage services that support global workflows across Azure and Google Cloud
•Contribute to storage abstractions and APIs to enable multi-cloud portability and consistency
•Build automation and tooling to manage distributed storage systems at scale (provisioning, configuration, lifecycle, capacity planning)
•Write high-quality production-ready code with observability (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting) for core storage services
•Define and meet SLOs and error budgets; participate in incident response and post-incident reviews to improve reliability

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 158,300 - 232,575 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of hands-on software development experience in an object-oriented language (C#, C++, Java) and/or scripting languages (Node.js, Go, Python) with backend/infrastructure focus
•5+ years of experience with cloud deployment/configuration tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Cloud Deployment Manager)
•Experience designing scalable storage systems using cloud storage solutions (Cosmos DB, Cassandra, Firestore, DynamoDB) and object storage (Azure Blob, GCS, S3)
•Experience with system architecture, API design, and distributed systems, including microservices and cloud-native patterns
•Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure and/or Google Cloud), containers (Docker), and Kubernetes; IaC with Terraform; CI/CD integration
