Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis to study potable, surface and wastewater system requirements using computer-based programmes.
  • •Carry out technical and feasibility studies for alternative solutions across potable, foul, surface water and attenuation requirements.
  • •Perform structural analysis and design, including design situations and load cases with analysis software.
  • •Produce water infrastructure designs (e.g., pump systems and pipe networks) and associated safety in design documentation.
  • •Create, check and consolidate working drawings and support technical work, site work, and project management.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent).
  • •MEng in Civil, Structural, or a Water Engineering related MSc would be an advantage.
  • •Water-related modules and relevant work experience are advantageous.
  • •Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and good report-writing skills.
  • •Willing and able to work toward professional qualifications such as ICE & CIWEM.
