Key Responsibilities

  • •Create accurate Claims Management System records
  • •Maintain high quality service standards and productivity
  • •Develop client contacts and understand client culture
  • •Attend client review meetings where appropriate
  • •Assist with internal and external auditing
  • •Undertake projects and deliver within agreed timescales
  • •Keep Managers informed of client changes and issues
  • •Report to Team Leader/Claims Unit Service Manager and undertake additional tasks
  • •Allocate new claims as required
  • •Carry out supervisory tasks appropriate to level and management instructions
  • •Undertake monthly audits for all fee earners in the Department
  • •Undertake client audits as required
  • •Develop and maintain an audit process and relay outputs to Head of Operations, Team leaders and file handler

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4 years claims handling experience, including at least 3 years in EL/PL dealing with complex quantum
  • •Significant experience evaluating, negotiating, and settling Public/Employers’ Liability claims
  • •Experience providing training or supervising is desirable
  • •Technical delivery experience with RSI or CRPS is desirable but not essential
  • •Ability to prioritise workload and understand market dynamics
