Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial settings, using HVAC theory, pipe fitting knowledge, mechanical layouts, and blueprints/engineering specifications. Coordinate on-site installation and repairs with project teams and customers, maintain safety and asset accountability, and be flexible for overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.

•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues and synchronizing work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Diagnose and repair HVAC units using cutting-edge technology and software along with hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and condition.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the prior 3 years.
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to coordinate on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
