Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
•Perform minor and advanced repairs on electrical/brake/cooling systems, engines, transmissions, HVAC, and other truck equipment.
•Inspect, test, and diagnose defects using handheld test instruments; road-test vehicles to verify proper operation.
•Manage inventory of parts on the service truck and document work performed using the TRAIT application.
•Communicate with management and customers to obtain approvals on repair estimates, and ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations.

Salary: USD 26.73 - 40.1 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience, or an equivalent combination
•Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties
•Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months
•This position follows DOT regulations; able to pass pre-employment DOT background screen and DOT physical
•Must be at least 21 years old with a valid state driver’s license
