Key Responsibilities

  • •Use trouble ticketing systems to document and track outages and exercise sound judgment during escalation.
  • •Provide advanced Tier II and III support by remotely troubleshooting and repairing transport backbone equipment, sub-tending devices, and user applications/services.
  • •Serve as internal escalation point for complex, persistent trouble tickets and coordinate with Tier IV vendor engineers to resolve issues.
  • •Configure, maintain, and monitor Windows Server failover clusters and systems including McAfee EPO, SQL, SolarWinds, SharePoint, Red Hat Linux, and Exchange servers.
  • •Conduct risk assessments for security violations using ACAS and DoD STIGs and develop procedures to protect systems and applications, including after-hours on-call support as required.

Key Requirements

  • •DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or above.
  • •Top Secret clearance mandatory and current SCI mandatory.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and three years’ experience, or seven years’ applicable work experience.
  • •Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, SQL, SolarWinds, SharePoint, Red Hat Linux, Exchange, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and host-based security.
  • •Experience with Sun Solaris servers and Cisco/Juniper devices is highly desired.
