Own an end-to-end product vertical for an AI investing experience, driving outcomes and prioritizing a backlog by value, risk, dependencies, and strategic priority. Partner with engineering to shape technical design for money-movement correctness, reliability, security, and scalability. Balance trade-offs across correctness, cost, UX, and regulated constraints (e.g., licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring). Define where AI can decide, how it’s evaluated, and how to handle uncertainty, then ship behind external gates.

Location: Portugal
Workplace: Remote
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Product Management
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end with outcomes and metrics, prioritizing the backlog by value, risk, dependency, and strategic priority.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering, including money-movement correctness, security, latency, scalability, recovery, and failure/retry/refund paths.
  • •Make hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX, and defend decisions when challenged.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs (licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, privacy) and define launch gates.
  • •Apply AI responsibly by defining decision boundaries, human-in-the-loop behavior, evaluation methods, and handling when the model is unsure; ensure AI outputs trace to real records.

Key Requirements

  • •Own a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgement and decisiveness under ambiguity.
  • •Lead technical foundation: system design skills (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, concurrency/consistency) and ability to critique design docs.
  • •Have domain experience in regulated/high-consequence areas (payments, banking, remittance, insurance) and understand money-movement correctness.
  • •Hands-on AI judgement for LLM-based products, defining evaluation approaches and guardrails for hallucination/drift/data gaps and when humans must remain in the loop.
  • •Comfort working with engineering to translate technical constraints into product inputs for compliance and operations constraints.
