Job Function: Hospitality & Food Service

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and oversee a specific section or station in the kitchen, such as sauces, grill, or pastry, coordinating with Head Chef for overall kitchen coordination.
•Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
•Supervise and train junior cooks and kitchen staff working in the assigned station.
•Contribute to development and improvement of recipes within the assigned section and monitor inventory, stock control.
•Coordinate timing with other sections to ensure timely preparation and service of dishes and assist with menu planning.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of working experience in culinary roles, with at least 3 years of relevant experience; GCC experience is a plus.
•Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
•Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and cooking principles across various cuisines.
•Strong leadership skills to supervise and mentor kitchen staff and ensure efficient operations.
•Experience in inventory control, stock rotation, and input on menu planning and recipe development.
