Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the technical architecture of an Azure-first, multi-cloud platform.
  • •Design and modernise platform foundations including landing zones, identity, networking, security, governance, observability, automation, and operational controls.
  • •Define standards, reusable patterns, and guardrails engineering teams can build on.
  • •Create golden paths and self-service capabilities to reduce ticket dependency and improve delivery speed.
  • •Set direction for infrastructure as code and CI/CD using Terraform, and embed governance, security, and cost controls aligned to Azure Well-Architected.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong production experience designing, building, and operating Azure platforms at scale.
  • •Proven experience building, modernising, or significantly uplifting cloud platform environments (not only operating existing platforms).
  • •Deep knowledge of Azure landing zones, management groups, subscriptions, networking, Entra ID, governance, policy, security, and operational controls.
  • •Strong infrastructure as code experience, ideally with Terraform.
  • •Practical experience with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, automation, and cloud security/identity (including secrets management).
