Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis for potable, surface, and wastewater system studies using computer-based programmes.
  • •Conduct technical and feasibility studies for alternative potable, foul, surface, and attenuation solutions using appropriate calculations.
  • •Produce designs for water infrastructure such as pump systems and pipe networks, including safety in design documentation.
  • •Create sketches, models, and consolidated final working drawings.
  • •Stay up-to-date with regulatory legislation and guidelines affecting design work and collaborate on site work and project management.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent).
  • •MEng in Civil, Structural, or a Water Engineering related MSc (civils) is an advantage.
  • •Water-related modules and relevant work experience are an advantage.
  • •Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and good report writing skills are required/beneficial.
  • •Interest in water projects and willingness to work towards professional qualifications such as ICE & CIWEM.
