Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement commissioning tasks across the full process for building HVAC and MEP systems, from concept design through functional testing and post-occupancy.
  • •Review and verify MEP design documents, construction submittals, and sequences of operation for conformance.
  • •Plan, chair, and document project commissioning meetings.
  • •Create system checklists and functional performance operational tests, then conduct site walks/inspections and produce observation reports.
  • •Direct onsite system testing and monitoring, track issues, and resolve problems with contractors, engineers, and owners while preparing project deliverables.

Salary: USD 90,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant building science, plus two years of relevant experience, or 5 years equivalent work in MEP systems.
  • •Knowledge of MEP systems installation and operation required.
  • •Verify that systems are designed, installed, and operate within the basis of design and specified criteria.
  • •Preferred: passed the FE and on track for Professional Engineer (PE).
  • •Preferred: LEED AP and on track for commissioning certification (such as CxA, CCP, or BCxP).
