Job Summary

Operate and maintain quarry processing equipment including conveyors, screens, feeders, crushers, and dust suppression systems during the 2nd shift. Follow MSHA and company safety rules, perform daily work area inspections and reporting, keep walkways and conveyor frames clean, and perform scheduled maintenance such as greasing bearings and maintaining oil levels. Support the team by learning required training and performing additional assigned duties safely as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and maintain conveyors, screens, feeders, crushers, and dust suppression systems.
•Adhere to MSHA and company safety rules; wear required PPE and report safety concerns to the foreman.
•Inspect the work area daily, complete Work Area Inspection forms, and submit Production Reports.
•Maintain equipment by checking conveyor belts and components, greasing bearings per schedule, and checking oil levels in crushers.
•Keep work areas clean and free of debris; perform assigned and other duties as directed by the foremen.

Key Requirements

•High school or equivalent education.
•Mechanical skills/aptitude and knowledge of production equipment used in plant operations.
•Ability to identify areas of contamination and learn to operate/control the plant.
•Strict adherence to safety requirements and company procedures, including learning and implementing MSHA standards.
•Ability to read English documentation and communicate effectively with other personnel while working in a team environment.
