Key Responsibilities

  • •Run the public bug bounty program: triage, reproduce/validate, communicate with researchers, and drive remediation to closure.
  • •Investigate vulnerabilities at the code level across Rust core and Go/Python tooling.
  • •Enable engineers with secure-by-default tooling, documentation, and guidance, and set security requirements for higher-risk changes.
  • •Harden and maintain GitHub organization security posture (secret scanning, push protection, branch protection/rulesets, dependency/code scanning) with engineering teams.
  • •Monitor and respond to security alerts across AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD; support incident response and maintain auditable vulnerability/incident records.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years in hands-on security engineering, product security, or vulnerability management.
  • •Read and navigate unfamiliar codebases well enough to validate vulnerability reports and trace impact (Rust, Go, Python).
  • •Practical knowledge of cloud and container security, particularly AWS and Kubernetes.
  • •Experience triaging vulnerability reports or working with a bug bounty/vulnerability disclosure program or product security team.
  • •Familiarity with GitHub security features and securing CI/CD pipelines.
