Job Summary

Own the monthly ASC 606 revenue close end-to-end, including contract review, SSP analysis, multi-element arrangements, and audit-ready revenue disclosures. Drive internal controls and SOX documentation, coordinate quarterly reviews and year-end audits, and stay current on FASB and SEC guidance. Optimize the revenue process and systems (NetSuite/ERP, Excel/Google Sheets), build automated schedules and reporting, and partner cross-functionally with DealOps, Business System, FP&A, Legal, and Product while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and execute the monthly revenue close process, including contracts review, SSP analysis, contract modifications, multi-element arrangement accounting, and ASC 606 revenue disclosure.
•Prepare and review revenue journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses with clear audit trails.
•Maintain and enforce internal controls over revenue with SOX-ready policies, procedures, and control narratives.
•Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and year-end audits; own PBC schedules and revenue audit support.
•Optimize the revenue close process and systems by improving workflows, ensuring revenue data flows to the GL, and building automated revenue schedules, reporting templates, and exception monitoring tools.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4-6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of ASC 606 in a SaaS/software environment.
•Experience across private and public (public-ready / Big 4-audited) environments with strong documentation and rigor.
•Hands-on month-end close ownership and audit process experience, not just participation.
•Strong working knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit coordination.
•Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or comparable ERP/CRM systems.
