Key Responsibilities

  • •Set the technical direction and architecture for the Salesforce platform.
  • •Own Salesforce integration architecture between Salesforce and Ibotta services.
  • •Define development, deployment, and code review practices and ensure teams document them consistently.
  • •Own testing, reliability, and performance of the Salesforce platform.
  • •Mentor Salesforce engineers and raise the technical bar across the group while partnering with product, engineering, architecture, and revenue stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of Salesforce engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership across multiple teams.
  • •Deep Apex and Lightning Web Components experience, including Lightning architecture and the Salesforce data model.
  • •Hands-on experience building applications in at least one backend language outside Salesforce (Java, Python, Go, or Node.js).
  • •Experience with event-driven architecture and integrations over REST and SOAP APIs, including Salesforce Platform Events and Change Data Capture.
  • •Experience with Salesforce release/deployment practices and version-control-based development using tools such as Copado, Salesforce DX, and Git; experience with CPQ.
