Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage cost planning, forecasting, benchmarking, performance reporting, and change control to ensure strong commercial stewardship across the programme lifecycle.
  • •Oversee master programme and capital budgets; monitor schedule performance, risk exposure, earned value, and overall commercial progress.
  • •Ensure timely and accurate reporting to client and governance bodies; maintain high-quality documentation and audit-ready records across commercial and programme control functions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • •Professional membership (e.g., SCSI, RICS, Engineers Ireland, APM).
  • •Minimum 15 years’ experience delivering major infrastructure or capital programmes.
  • •Significant commercial leadership experience in complex, multi-disciplinary environments with strong contract strategy and commercial governance knowledge.
  • •Experience with NEC4, FIDIC, or public sector contract frameworks and proven ability to lead commercial teams at senior stakeholder level.
