Job Summary

Use large-scale conversation and interaction data to analyze how users engage with AI-native product features. Build semantic and evaluation frameworks to identify intent, success patterns, and failure modes, then connect those insights to metrics, experiments, and product recommendations. Partner with Product and Engineering to close the loop between analysis and roadmap decisions, and mentor product analysts while influencing the broader data science agenda at principal level for exceptional candidates.

Key Responsibilities

•Define how to measure “good” for AI-native features beyond traditional funnels and own the metrics leadership depends on.
•Build semantic frameworks to categorize user intent, model behavior, and interaction patterns, and design feedback loops across prompts, outputs, and outcomes.
•Analyze user–AI interactions at scale to identify failure patterns, iteration loops, and characteristics of successful interactions.
•Build predictive models to answer questions dashboards can’t, such as what predicts good outcomes and where improvements have the highest leverage.
•Run end-to-end experiments and translate findings into prioritized product roadmap recommendations while mentoring product analysts and raising the technical bar.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience (ideally 5+ years) in data science or product analytics with conversation, chat, or dialogue data at scale.
•Hands-on experience working with AI/ML-driven products such as LLMs, ranking, generation, or recommendations.
•Fluency in SQL and Python, comfortable with large, messy, high-dimensional interaction data and building reproducible analysis pipelines.
•Strong applied modelling skills (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, survival analysis) and the ability to select methods that fit the question.
•Deep expertise in experimentation design and statistical inference, with the ability to explain results to non-technical audiences.
