Job Summary

Act as a client-facing analyst supporting Sequoia's benefits and compensation consulting teams. You will develop financial analyses, underwriting, renewal modeling, and demographic reporting; create and deliver reporting packages; build client and carrier relationships; maintain data in Salesforce; and translate data into strategic recommendations for some of the world's most innovative technology companies.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide financial analyses including underwriting, renewal reviews, employee contribution modeling, market analysis and benchmarking
•Prepare and present reporting packages and insights on demographic data and trends, including post-implementation changes
•Offer insights on network differentials and disruption
•Assist with financial modeling and forecasting using actuarial tools
•Design reports such as claims reporting, client benchmarking, benefit cost analysis, enrollment overviews, plan comparisons and merger and acquisition analysis

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required
•5+ years of experience working in benefits consulting or healthcare fields
•Strong project management skills with high attention to detail and responsiveness in a deadline-driven environment
•Ability to interface cross-departmentally and with clients and partners
•Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
